Relaunching a phytopharmaceutical company

Challenge

Diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, one of the Founders of Grace Health and Wellness turned to cannabis and witnessed firsthand the therapeutic power and potential of the plant as she quickly went into remission. She wanted to share with others her story and the products she had developed and used, while also building the case for clinical trials. The Founders reached out to us for help setting the strategic direction for growth and relaunching the business.

Approach

We first led the Founders through a series of North Star Strategy Sessions to solidify the company’s vision and mission, align on its long-term goals, and determine key points of differentiation vs. competition.

With objectives set, we developed an updated brand positioning around the notion of “Redefining Wellness,” accompanied with the brand personality, voice, and tone. To distill the positioning into something memorable, we created the tagline “Nourishing Mind, Body and Soul.”

We then updated the logo and redesigned the packaging, both of which were front and center on the new website.

Lastly, we developed a three-year go-to-market strategy and provided a detailed year-one marketing plan identifying key tactics at each point in the user journey. Brand guidelines created helped ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints. 

Result

The overall project laid the foundation for the company and provided proof points to potential research partners and investors that Grace Health and Wellness would be an industry game changer.
